Do you own an Xbox 360? I do. Personally, I have never encountered any problem related to Xbox 360 red light errors or also well-known as the Red Ring of Death. However, I know a few friends who got really fed up with their Xbox 360 systems due to these problems. Red Ring of Death, does this mean your system is really dead?

If you’re out of warranty, you’ll need to spend some bucks to fix Xbox 360 so that it works again. However, do you know that you can also fix the system by yourself? I believe that you must have come across various websites that offer guides to take care of the system.

I came across this one guide. It was indeed cheaper than what other websites offer: $13.95. Feeling skeptical? Me too. However, after further reading, I realized that this guide actually covers more bases than other offered guides on the internet. Errors of one light, two lights, three lights and even four lights? No problem.

If Microsoft goes behind the same agenda it did the previous year, the Spring Update for Xbox 360 may be on its way. At the moment, a so-called and totally unofficial list of changes incorporated in the “Q2 2008″ update features about 80 innovative add-ons, tweaks and modifications but was alleged to be partial and cause to undergo alteration.

A few are purely attention-grabbing as curiosities, like an opportunity to acquire Xbox Live memberships in support of charities along with the addition of a Media segment for audio carried via feeds, for example podcasts. Others seem more feature rich, for instance Windows Live Mail add-on and an extended “Inside Xbox” including entertainment, weather, community features, help and news.

Maybe the most remarkable add-ons are “Calibration options for motion sensor devices” designed for the Dashboard and “Support for titles to store installation data on Storage Device for faster loading” meant for Games. Microsoft is also planning to launch a motion controller designed for the Xbox 360. The power to pile up installation data on a hard drive same with several PlayStation 3 games—would definitely be a welcome selection, if that’s how it should be interpreted.
